It is a little known fact that Korczak Ziolkowski was also planning a monumental sculpture of Crazy HorseÂ’s wife Black Buffalo Woman, a mock-up of which is seen here shortly before Ziolkowski abandoned the project due to lack of funds and destroyed the model.
